Job summary
Avantor is seeking a Technical Service Technician in Spain to support Southern Spain customers from home base with ~50% travel across Valencia, Alicante, Castellón and beyond. You will install, maintain, qualify, troubleshoot, and repair a broad range of laboratory equipment, and provide remote technical support and customer training.
A field-service mindset and strong English/Spanish skills are essential. This role offers autonomy, a company car, private health insurance, travel reimbursements
Qualifications
- Electrical/electronics engineering qualification required.
- 3–5 years field service/technical support experience.
- Experience with installation, maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure and set up equipment including software components.
- Perform preventive maintenance, qualification and calibration activities.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and provide remote support.
- Train customers on operation and best practices.
- Manage spare parts, stock control and service documentation.
