Formación

We are currently looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join COYA team.

The ideal candidate has a strong passion for culinary excellence and a keen eye for detail. You will assist the Head Chef providing exceptional food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist the kitchen staff in all aspects of food production
  • Evaluate food products to ensure consistent quality standards
  • Establish and maintain a regular maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff
The ideal candidate for this Sous Chef position will have :
  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a similar role in a high‑end high‑volume venue.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of South American and Nikkei cuisine.
  • Excellent communication skills. Must have high level of both spoken and written English and Spanish.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food hygiene.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Have the ability to inspire, motivate and train kitchen staff to deliver the highest levels of service.
  • Must be friendly and attentive.
  • Passion for culinary.
