Le candidat idéal dispose de 3–5 années d’expérience en sourcing et gestion de contrats, avec une connaissance des outils SAP et P2P, et parle anglais couramment;

Qualifications

• Diplôme universitaire en Business ou Sciences de la vie requis.
• MBA ou certification CIPS fortement souhaité.
• Expérience confirmée en sourcing tactique et gestion de contrats.

Responsibilities

• Exécuter les activités globales de sourcing, processus standard (RfIs, RfQs, RfPs) et benchmarks.
• Analyser les besoins pour maximiser la valeur et agréger la demande mondiale.
• Définir des plans de projet et gérer les risques et jalons.
• Mettre en place et suivre le cycle de vie des contrats (CDA, SOW).
• Optimiser les workflows P2P et assurer la conformité des achats.
• Suivre les indicateurs opérationnels et promouvoir la durabilité et l'éthique des fournisseurs.
• Gérer les attentes et communiquer régulièrement les KPI et projets.

The Opportunity

Are you ready to optimize the sourcing operations for the advanced sensor technologies and external manufacturing networks that make near-patient testing possible? As our Sourcing Manager in Sant Cugat, Spain, you will execute end-to-end tactical procurement within our Near Patient Care (NPC), Sensors & Cartridges, and External Manufacturing (EM) portfolios. In this role, you will elevate standard transactional requests into strategic, value-add opportunities, drive bottom-line cost savings, and ensure global supply reliability.

• Reporting Line: The position directly reports to the Sourcing Lead - NPC, Sensors & Cartridges, and EM, and is part of the Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE).


• Wider team and stakeholders: Partners with DOP Category, DOP Delivery, RSS Demand to Pay, global operations stakeholders, and external suppliers/contract manufacturers to resolve administrative bottlenecks and inform future strategies.


• Role Type: An Individual Contributor role focused on end-to-end sourcing execution, master data management, and value creation.


• Impact: You drive global procurement efficiency, value execution, and compliance across your portfolios. Specifically, you are accountable for:
  
  
  
  • Sourcing Execution: Executing global sourcing activities, standard processes (RfIs, RfQs, RfPs), and market benchmarking for on-market products and New Product Introductions (NPI).
  
  
  • Demand Aggregation: Analyzing user requirements to identify value-driving methods, aggregating global demand to maximize leverage, and escalating non-standard requests to Category Management.
  
  
  • Project & Risk Management: Developing comprehensive project plans (timelines, milestones, resources), participating in project teams, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks to objectives.
  
  
  • Contract Lifecycle: Setting up template-based contracts (such as CDAs and SOWs) and managing their full lifecycle, repository tracking, and potential renewals or improvements.
  
  
  • Operational Excellence: Utilizing enterprise tools (SAP, myBuy) to simplify new and existing workflows, managing purchasing documentation, and ensuring strict compliance with global procurement policies.
  
  
  • Metrics & CSR: Tracking and delivering on key operational targets and customer service metrics (such as cycle times) while championing supplier diversity, sustainability, and ethical practices.
  
  
  • Conflict & Exposure: Managing process expectations and competing activity priorities, while presenting regular KPI and project updates to the Sourcing Lead and global stakeholders
  
  
  
  

Who you are

• Education: A University degree (Business or Life Sciences preferred) is required; an MBA or CIPS certification is highly desirable.


• Experience: 3-5+ years in sourcing, specializing in tactical sourcing (spot buying) and contract management, with a proven track record of driving cost-reduction initiatives.


• Market Expertise: Relevant procurement experience within direct categories in the medical device, healthcare, or high-tech manufacturing sectors, with hands-on knowledge or strong exposure to Near Patient Care (NPC) technology, Sensor technology, Cartridge production, or working with External Manufacturers (EM).


• AI & Digitalization: Advanced knowledge in AI application and a strong affinity to explore AI-driven solutions broadly, particularly regarding the digital transformation of operations (Digital 2.0 / Industry 4.0).


• Systems & Analytics: Strong, hands-on experience with Enterprise Systems (specifically SAP), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows, eSourcing/eAuction platforms, and BI tools like Tableau.


• Mindset & Soft Skills: An analytical problem-solver with a strong customer-service focus. You excel at translating complex business needs into clear, compliant procurement specifications while managing project timelines and navigating conflicting priorities.


• Languages: Business-level fluency in English is required; Spanish and German language skills are a strong asset.
