IBM Global Sales in Barcelona seeks a senior solutions engineer to architect complex event-driven systems with Apache Kafka and Flink. You’ll own technical discovery, map pains to Confluent value, and guide enterprise accounts toward technical wins.

Collaborate across teams to develop PoCs and RFP responses, advocate for customers, and shape product roadmaps. Requires Bachelor’s Degree and fluency in English and Spanish; deep Kafka/Confluent knowledge and cloud deployment experience are

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Production-level experience with Kafka and Confluent.
• Strong Java/Scala/Python coding skills.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid deployment.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Architect event-driven solutions using Kafka and Flink.
• Lead technical discovery with enterprise accounts.
• Map business pain points to Confluent value.
• Drive technical wins during customer lifecycle.
• Develop PoCs and RFP/RFI responses.
• Escalate and resolve complex technical objections.
