A leading European Financial Services group is seeking a Solution Architect in Barcelona to design Azure-first data solutions and lead migration to cloud-native platforms. The role requires strong Azure experience and the ability to communicate with .NET teams. This hybrid position offers competitive compensation up to €70,000 plus package.

Solution Architect – Azure / Databricks (with .NET understanding)

Hybrid | 1 day per week in Madrid or Barcelona

Up to €70,000 + Package

We’re hiring a Solution Architect in Spain for a leading European Financial Services group, focused on Azure-native, data-driven platforms (Databricks / Data Lake / event-driven design). You don’t need to be coding, but you must understand .NET Core well enough to engage with engineering teams.

The role

• Architect Azure-first data & integration solutions (Databricks, Event Hub, APIs, Functions).
• Drive modernisation and migration from legacy services into cloud-native platforms.
• Bridge architecture with engineering, ensuring delivery is practical and scalable.
• Lead technical governance and solution design across multiple teams.

You bring

• Strong experience with Azure Cloud (Databricks or similar is a big plus).
• Solid background in data, microservices or event-driven architectures.
• Ability to speak the language of .NET teams even if you’re no longer coding.
• Fluent English (German is a bonus).
