H3C in Madrid is seeking a Solution Engineer to act as the technical lead for key account projects. The role requires a strong ICT background from vendors or top-tier system integrators and focuses on guiding and supporting large-scale initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead technical analyses, promote H3C products, and work closely with account sales to shape solutions, forecasts, and technical reports.

Formación

• 5+ years in Presales or related technical role.
• Experience with ICT Vendors (Manufacturers) or Top-tier System Integrators.
• Knowledge of Campus/Data Center networks, WAN, Wi-Fi, Cloud, Security, and 5G.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary technical lead on customer projects in collaboration with account sales.
• Drive the introduction of H3C products and solutions in the local market from a technical standpoint.
• Lead the investigation and analysis of customer ICT network infrastructures.
• Assess market competition by performing deep-dive comparisons between company products and competitor offerings.
• Partner with sales teams to develop product sales strategies and increase market share.
• Provide management with short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and technical analyses.
• Maintain professional and technical expertise through workshops and networks.
• Provide expert-level technical assistance and training to client users as needed.
• Develop comprehensive network/systems documentation and technical proposals.
• Fulfill verbal and written assignments and production tasks as required by business needs.

This role requires a professional with a strong technical pedigree from ICT vendors or top-tier system integrators, specializing in the guidance and support of large-scale, high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Act as the primary technical lead in collaboration with account sales for specific customer projects.
• Solution Promotion: Drive the introduction of existing and updated H3C products and solutions in the local market from a technical standpoint.
• Technical Analysis: Lead the investigation and analysis of customer-specific ICT network infrastructures.
• Competitive Intelligence: Assess market competition by performing deep-dive comparisons between company products and competitor offerings.
• Sales Strategy: Partner with sales teams to develop product sales strategies and increase market share.
• Strategic Reporting: Provide management with short-term and long-term product sales forecasts, special reports, and technical analyses.
• Knowledge Leadership: Maintain professional and technical expertise through workshops, publications, and professional networks.
• Training & Support: Provide expert-level technical assistance and training to client users as needed.
• Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive network/systems documentation and technical proposals.
• Business Execution: Fulfill verbal and written assignments and production tasks as required by business needs.

Qualifications & Requirement

• Professional Background: Preferred experience working with ICT Vendors (Manufacturers) or Top-tier System Integrators.
• Project Experience: Proven experience in leading and supporting major/sizeable ICT projects (Major Project Guidance & Support).
• Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Presales or related technical role.
• Technical Expertise: Familiarity (with evidence) in several of the following: Campus Network, Data Center Network, WAN, Wi-Fi, HCI, Switches, Storage, Cloud, Security, and 5G.
• Language Skills: Working proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Communication: Excellent presentation skills and the ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel as required by project needs.
• Soft Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
