About the role

At SOTEC Consulting – Astek Group, we are looking for a Solution Architect to join an international enterprise project.

This role acts as the primary authority for end-to-end integration architecture and systemic design across a multi-platform enterprise ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, validating and governing highly scalable, secure and resilient data integrations across multiple disparate systems, bridging business objectives with complex technical execution while driving architectural governance within a global governance framework.

• Lead the end-to-end architectural design of complex, high-throughput integration streams.
• Define integration strategies based on Event-Driven Architectures, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, Publish/Subscribe (Pub/Sub) and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Define and enforce technical standards, API contracts and middleware strategies across multiple platforms.
• Govern data schemas, payload structures, message formats and collaborate with Data Engineering teams on mappings, transformation rules and serialization protocols.
• Drive resilient solution design with a focus on scalability, reliability, error handling, idempotency, retry policies, circuit breakers and rate limiting.
• Present and defend architectural decisions, technical designs and engineering trade-offs before architecture boards and senior stakeholders.
• Review and approve vendor technical deliverables, ensuring alignment with the target-state architecture.
• Produce architecture blueprints, sequence diagrams, Solution Design Documents (SDDs) and development-ready technical documentation.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect leading complex enterprise integration projects involving multiple interconnected systems.
• Strong expertise in end-to-end integration architecture and systemic design.
• Deep understanding of data modelling, schema design, distributed systems and data synchronization.
• Experience designing enterprise integration solutions using Event-Driven Architectures, synchronous/asynchronous APIs, Pub/Sub and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience producing architectural documentation, including Solution Design Documents (SDDs), architecture blueprints and sequence diagrams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts, defend architectural decisions and influence senior technical stakeholders.
• Pragmatic engineering mindset with the ability to balance engineering best practices, business priorities, delivery velocity and legacy constraints while maintaining security, scalability and system resilience.
• Strong ownership, analytical mindset and the ability to challenge assumptions constructively and raise risks early.

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating MarTech platforms such as Adobe.
• Experience integrating CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Veeva.
• Experience integrating Customer Experience platforms.
• Knowledge of digital marketing ecosystems, omnichannel engagement platforms, customer interaction data flows and downstream analytics.
• Experience with Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC) and distributed consent management frameworks.
• Experience within Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or similarly regulated environments involving GDPR, HIPAA, compliance frameworks, data privacy and system validation.
