Ideematec seeks a technically skilled solution engineer to translate customer requirements into optimized tracker-system designs and to prepare high-quality quotations and layouts for regional projects.

You will collaborate with Key Account Managers, Sales and Technical Teams, ensuring robust configurations and clear documentation throughout the quotation process. International travel is expected to support global opportunities.

Formación

• University degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, renewable energy or comparable field.
• Several years of experience in technical sales, project engineering or plant/system design, ideally PV/solar sector.
• Knowledge of technical-system design and site factors (wind/snow loads, topography, geotechnics).
• Experience in quotation and feasibility assessment, including cost and risk estimation.
• Confident use of CAD/layout tools and CRM systems.
• Business-fluent English; Italian/German language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Independent translation of customer requirements into optimized tracker-system designs.
• Prepare or coordinate technical quotations, layouts and preliminary designs for handover to commercial quotation prep.
• Analyze project data (site conditions, geotechnical inputs, yield targets) and derive suitable system solutions.
• Coordinate feasibility assessments, cost estimates and technical risk assessments for inquiries.
• Provide technical support to Account Managers in meetings and presentations.
• Handle technical inquiries from customers, partners and EPCs and deliver timely, correct responses.
• Support product management, tracker design and engineering with technical input and documentation.
