Nextpower seeks a Designer/CAD Drafter for global solar projects, delivering tracker layouts, construction plans, BOMs, and value engineering in a collaborative team environment.

The role requires a Civil/Mechanical/Structural background, 2–4 years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, and fluent English and Spanish. Madrid-based with opportunities for growth and a competitive salary package.

Formación

• BS in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Associates degree in related field at minimum.
• 2-4 years of experience as a Designer / CAD Drafter.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated team player. Fluent oral and written communication in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Provide design support to develop tracker layouts, CAD blocks, mechanical sets, and full construction plan sets.
• Review pertinent site information, design inputs, and assist in selecting appropriate product types based on site conditions.
• Work with a team of engineers updating to new product configurations and drafting standards and potentially developing automation procedures.
• Conduct value engineering exercises to lower costs on an individual project basis; coordinate with designers in other regions to create and update new product standards, design changes, and project related issues.
• Prioritize tasks to provide the best support to our internal and external customers.
