A leading digital assessment provider is seeking a software training specialist to deliver effective training sessions and develop comprehensive training materials. You will conduct training for various audiences, manage logistics, and enhance learning outcomes. Proficiency in English and Norwegian is required along with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. This role offers remote work options and occasional travel for training sessions.

As the providers of the TAO assessment platform, we’ve worked with both independent organizations along with some of the world’s largest Departments and Ministries of Education for over a decade to pioneer innovative solutions and set the standard for the future of digital learning.
Gain a thorough understanding of the software through self-directed learning utilising company-provided resources such as videos, user guides, and access to multiple software environments.
Create detailed training materials based on existing resources, organising content into modular lessons to cover all necessary disciplines and software functionalities thoroughly.
Conduct training sessions for diverse audiences, managing groups ranging from 20-30 participants. Ensure engaging and clear delivery of material in both English and Norwegian.
Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of training sessions, including travel to various locations for inaugural and closing sessions. The role requires occasional overnight stays, particularly when training sessions are conducted in different regions of Norway.
Translate and adapt training materials to meet local language requirements and cultural nuances to enhance learning outcomes.
Gather feedback from training participants to continually refine training strategies and materials. Assess the effectiveness of training programs in meeting user needs and organisational goals.
A bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience delivering software application training (ideally 5 or more years of experience ), with a solid track record of developing and authoring training materials using various digital tools.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex software concepts in clear and engaging ways. Experience in handling group training sessions ranging from 20-30 participants as a minimum.
Willingness to travel within Norway and occasionally stay overnight when required for training purposes.
Proficiency in English and Norwegian, capable of delivering training and translating materials in both languages.
Strong organisational and coordination skills to manage multiple training schedules and materials.
Proficiency with various educational technologies and digital tools for creating training content.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet training goals.
