Job summary

Ambit Iberia is seeking a versatile Software Packager to manage end-to-end packaging requests and deployments in a corporate environment. You will create MSI/MSIX/Intunewin packages, automate with PowerShell/PSADT, and deploy via SCCM/Intune with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong scripting, packaging, and log-analysis skills, plus experience working with ITIL/Agile environments. On-site presence is needed 2 days a week in Catalonia.

Qualifications

• Experience in software packaging and deployment in enterprise environments.
• Proficient PowerShell scripting including PSADT.
• Hands-on Microsoft SCCM and Intune.
• Familiar with Orca packaging tool.

Responsibilities

Job description

You are a versatile and autonomous Software Packager who enjoys solving technical challenges. You combine strong packaging expertise with a practical, customer-focused mindset and can efficiently troubleshoot, automate, and deliver reliable software deployment solutions.

Tasks:

• Receive, analyze, and manage software packaging requests from start to finish: registration, package creation, testing, delivery, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Coordinate with IT and business teams to understand needs, define optimal solutions, and prioritize tasks.
• Create, customize, and maintain complex software packages (MSI, MSIX, Intunewin, etc.), ensuring compatibility and compliance with corporate standards.
• Use software packaging tools (e.g., Orca).
• Manage software deployment to corporate devices via MS SCCM/Intune.
• Automate service processes using scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, PSADT).
• Document processes, incidents, and solutions, as well as propose continuous improvements in the packaging workflow.
• Monitor SLAs and provide periodic reporting on the status of requests and incidents.
• Provide third-level support for incidents related to software packaging and distribution.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and ad-hoc tasks related to the service.

MUSTs Service Requirements

• Experience in software packaging and application deployment in enterprise environments.
• Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting, including PSADT.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM and Intune.
• Familiarity with packaging tools such as Orca.
• Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot installation issues, and resolve problems independently.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive and customer-oriented approach.
• Experience working directly with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of SQL and general IT infrastructure concepts.
• Experience working in Agile, ITIL, or similar environments.
• English level B2+.

NICE TO HAVE Service Requirements

• Experience improving or integrating packaging processes.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, APIs, or development practices.
• Exposure to Ansible or other automation/DevOps tools.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software packaging and deployment.
• Experience managing multiple packaging requests simultaneously.

SCHEDULE :

• 08h-17h from Monday to Friday (flexible)
• 2 days work on site
