Camino Search in Madrid is seeking an M&A Associate (Origination Focus) to drive deal origination and pipeline generation. The role is hybrid and requires English fluency, with exposure to early-stage discussions and a path toward due diligence involvement.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, internship experience in Transaction Services or M&A, and strong Excel skills. You will lead market research and build a proactive outreach program to target potential software opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Internship experience in Transaction Services, M&A, Investment Banking, or origination/BD-focused role.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead market mapping and sector research to identify acquisition targets.
• Build and manage a proactive origination pipeline.
• Initiate and own direct outreach to business owners and founders.
• Develop and maintain a structured CRM/pipeline of prospects.
• Represent the business in early-stage conversations with target companies.
• Support due diligence workstreams once targets progress.
• Prepare investment papers and board materials summarising origination activity.
• Support post-acquisition planning alongside the wider team.
