This position is for a mid-senior Software Engineer, Website located in the European Union.

As a Website Software Engineer, you will take ownership of a high‑traffic web platform, shaping both its technical foundation and user experience. You will work in a collaborative, innovative environment, building scalable solutions, optimizing performance, and enabling teams to deliver content and features efficiently. The role offers autonomy, mentorship, and opportunities to experiment with modern technologies, all while contributing directly to customer-facing experiences that impact thousands of users. You will be trusted to make architectural decisions, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive initiatives that improve accessibility, SEO, and overall website performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve the website using modern frameworks and headless CMS platforms.


• Collaborate with design and product teams to create flexible, accessible components and systems.


• Build tools and documentation that empower non-technical teams to manage content independently.


• Monitor, analyze, and improve website performance, SEO, and user experience metrics.


• Contribute to growth and marketing initiatives, ensuring accurate tracking and GDPR compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience building websites or web applications using frameworks like Next.js.


• Experience with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Strapi) and modern development workflows (CI/CD, version control, testing, deployment).


• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, web performance, accessibility, and user experience.


• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and make sound architectural decisions.


• Comfortable working across the full stack, from front‑end components to infrastructure optimization.
