Jobgether is seeking a Software Engineer - Solutions Engineering based in Spain to join a globally distributed team. You will develop open-source software supporting DevOps workflows across Linux, Kubernetes, and clouds, using Python and Go.

You will design automation, monitoring, and reliable operations, working with engineers across regions, contributing to upstream projects, and helping modernize operations while traveling up to 10%.

Formación

• Strong professional experience as a software engineer with Python
• Passion for reliable, maintainable software and dependable operations in agile environments
• Practical knowledge of Linux and networking with interest in the broader Linux stack
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies
• Strong engineering judgment with emphasis on quality, testing, documentation, and performance
• Excellent organizational and proactive delivery skills
• Strong communication and collaboration in a distributed team
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and solve complex challenges

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality open-source software operations code using Python and Golang
• Work across the Linux stack including kernel, networking, storage, virtualization, containers
• Build and improve open-source infrastructure for monitoring, alerting, automation, and reliability
• Modernize open-source operations to meet evolving customer needs
• Apply software engineering principles across architecture, implementation, testing, and documentation
• Follow agile practices and contribute to efficient delivery
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to solve infra challenges
• Coach colleagues and share technical insights
• Contribute to a healthy engineering culture and values
• Travel up to 10% for events and team sprints
