Liferay, Inc. is seeking an experienced software engineer to advance the core web content, asset management, and digital repository capabilities.

You will work with cross-functional agile teams to design and implement features in the Liferay Platform and related products, delivering scalable solutions for enterprise users worldwide. You should have 3+ years of software development experience, strong Java/Freemarker/SQL skills, and solid Git workflows.

Formación

• +3 years of software engineering experience with version control and testing.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Understanding of agile development values.
• Proficient in Java, Freemarker, and SQL.
• Proficient with Git and branching strategies.
• Experience writing enterprise-level code in one or more languages.
• Strong learning ability and willingness to learn new tech.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Good communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement new features for the Liferay Platform and products.
• Write high quality, maintainable code and manage technical debt.
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams, including UX Designers and Product Managers.
• Participate in peer reviews and promote knowledge sharing.
