Jobtailor is seeking a Software Engineer to deliver high-quality, scalable code in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders and solid cloud experience using OpenShift, GCP, and Azure.

The position requires strong Java/JavaScript skills, DevOps know-how, and the ability to work across teams. English fluency and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.

Formación

• Solid experience as Software Engineer, preferably using Spring Boot and Angular.
• Background in financial or automotive sector is a plus.
• Advanced English skills.
• Strong proficiency in several coding languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript).
• Experience with application development in cloud environments (OpenShift, GCP, Azure).
• Deep understanding of DevOps and CI/CD principles and practices.
• Experience with relational databases (DB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Ability to understand and collaborate with designs and business objectives.
• Ability to work independently and with multiple teams.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Advocate to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Write high-quality code that satisfies customer needs and strives for simplicity, clarity, and testability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
• Investigate and propose business and technical solutions to development and design problems, participating in scope of work estimation and forecasting.
• Promote and investigate architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews or use collaborative programming techniques to promote high quality business outcomes.
• Improve performance of existing software by diagnosing and resolving critical issues across multiple skill teams.
• Follow agile development processes.
• Mentor junior software engineers.
