Job summary

GMV Spain is expanding its cybersecurity team in Madrid to develop security-focused software and tools, with emphasis on automation, integration, and monitoring capabilities. You will design, implement, and maintain applications using web tech, databases, and Linux environments.

We seek graduates or professionals in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields with a strong interest in cybersecurity and software development, plus at least 2 years of experience and willingness to

Qualifications

• Graduates or professionals with a background in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Software Engineering or related disciplines.
• Strong interest in software development and cybersecurity.
• Experience with Database design and development.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, or projects.
• Familiarity with React, Flask, FastAPI; SQLAlchemy is a plus.
• DevOps and automation tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Lightweight virtualization/containerization: Docker, Podman or Kubernetes.
• At least 2 years of experience; willing to grow in a stable environment.
• Occasional business travel availability.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

Within our team, you will develop cybersecurity solutions and tools focused on automation, integration, and the enhancement of security, monitoring, and analysis capabilities, contributing to projects led by our Cybersecurity Engineering team.
You will participate in the design, development, and maintenance of applications and services, working with web technologies, databases, and Linux-based environments. You will help evolve our technical capabilities and contribute to the continuous improvement of our cybersecurity solutions.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for graduates or professionals with a background in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Software Engineering, or related disciplines, with a strong interest in software development and cybersecurity.

You should have experience with:

• Database design and development.

We will also value experience and knowledge in:

• Cybersecurity concepts, technologies, or projects.
• Frameworks such as React, Flask, and FastAPI.
• SQLAlchemy.
• DevOps and automation tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Lightweight virtualization and containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.

We are looking for professionals with at least 2 years of experience who are eager to grow in a stable environment and contribute to innovative projects with a strong cybersecurity focus.

Availability for occasional business travel is required.
