LanguageWire seeks a Senior Software Architect to set technical direction and lead architecture decisions across the company. The role sits at the intersection of technology strategy, architecture excellence, and engineering leadership across multiple teams and locations.

You will work with senior engineers and leaders to shape how we design, build, and evolve our platform, with a strong emphasis on scalable execution and pragmatic governance. This is a hybrid role with global collaboration.

The role you’ll play

We are looking for a senior Software Architect who canset technical direction, lead through influence, and drive architecture decisions across the entire company.

This role sits at the intersection oftechnology strategy, architecture excellence, and engineering leadership. You will work with senior engineers and engineering leaders across multiple teams and locations, shaping how we design, build, and evolve our platform.

The team you’ll be a part of

You will be part of ourTechnical Enablement Teamand will work very closely with ourDirector ofEngineering who is also defining a global reference architecture.

TheTechnical Enablement Teamwill take part in all the strategicallyimportant changesand initiatives across our engineering group. This includes a mix of hands-on work when implementing new features, technologies or similar while keeping the strategic focus and aligning this acrossteams. You will work with highly skilled and top of the class engineers and we expect you to be one aswell!.

• Define and evolve thecompany-wide architecture and technology vision
• Establishclear architectural principles, standards, and reusable building blocks
• Drive adoption of these standards across teams through collaboration—not mandate
• Act as a key contributor to global reference architecture initiatives

Leading and influencing at scale

• Guide and mentor50+ engineersacross multiple teams and tribes
• Support senior developers and tech leads in making sound architectural trade-offs
• Act as a trusted advisor for complex, cross-team initiatives
• Influence changewithout formal authority

Enabling scalable execution

• Ensure successful executionoflarge, cross-team technical initiatives
• Improve platformscalability, stability, and maintainability
• Define pragmatic governance where needed, without slowing teams down

Growing people and capabilities

• Assess technical and leadership skills of senior engineers
• Advise on learning, development, and training needs
• Support hiring of senior technical roles in collaboration with People & Culture

What you’ll need to bring

• Proven experience developing complex software solutions and delivering high-quality software systems, preferably SaaS services

• Proven architecture design & documentation experience

• Proventrack recordof re-architecting existing systems in a successful way

• Excellent knowledge of modern programming languages like C#, Python, Java

• Deep experience with REST APIs and documentation of REST endpoints

• Experience with Cloud Native development and microservices architectures

• DevOpsexperience: CI / CD,automatedpipelines, Infrastructure as Code,Containerization,Kubernetes.

• Ability to drive change and influence without authority

• Excellent presentation and data visualization skills.You’recomfortable reporting and presenting to senior leadership as well as to development teams.

• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking)

This will make you stand out

• Very goodknowledge of cloud platforms like Azure & GCP

• Experience with the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework is a plus

• Experience with AI-enabled development
