LanguageWire in Valencia seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to maintain accuracy in all AR transactions and support the Finance team across Europe.

The role reports to the AR Team Leader and involves collaboration with Operations and Customer Success to ensure timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliations. Hybrid work available within Valencia offices.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Audit.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Process and support sales functions, including invoicing.
• Support AR activities including collections to ensure timely receipts.
• Monitor overdue balances and follow up with customers.
• Prepare accounting entries for registers, journals, and logs.
• Follow accounting processes and policies.
• Provide analyses and explanations of all transactions.
• Assist close of financial statements and year-end audits.

The role you’ll play

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team in Valencia! Here you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of accuracy in all transactions related to the Company’s Accounts Receivable area.

The team you’ll be a part of

You will be part of a dynamic, international and competent department located in 3 different offices across Europe. The position reports directly to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader.

• Processing and supporting the sales functions, including liaising with Operations and Customer Success teams and processing manual invoices if required.
• Support Accounts Receivable activities (including collections) to ensure accuracy and timeliness of receipts of entries and collections.
• AR & Collections: Monitor overdue balances and follow up with customers.
• Prepare accounting related entries to registers, journals, and logs.
• Follow (and implement) accounting processes and policies.
• Research, understand, and provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.
• Regularly review, maintain, and provide support for detailed reconciliations of all balance sheets and expense accounts.
• Collaboration in the Financial Statements closing process for all companies in the Group.
• Preparation of materials for year-end audits and assisting external auditors.

What you’ll need to bring

• Accounting / Finance background
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Finance, Accounting or Audit field
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
• You are a team player who embraces ad-hoc projects with a positive attitude

• Languages like Spanish, French, Danish or Swedish would be an advantage
• Proficient excel knowledge is a plus (pivots, formulas, macros)
