RecruitGibraltar in Gibraltar (Southern Europe) seeks a senior lead software developer/architect to drive architecture, requirements, and execution for enterprise software projects.

You will collaborate with customers and engineering teams, define standards, oversee progress, and ensure quality, security, and extensibility before launch.

Formación

• Proven experience as a lead software developer or software architect.
• Experience gathering requirements from customers and communicating them to technical teams.
• Experience in software development with languages such as C#, .NET, Java.
• Excellent knowledge of software design and architecture.
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with customers to determine functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create representations for functions and user interface of the product.
• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
• Define all aspects of development from technology and workflow to coding standards.
• Communicate concepts and guidelines to the development team.
• Oversee progress of the development team to ensure alignment with the initial design.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
• Ensure software meets quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
• Approve final product before launch.
• Accurate and consistent tracking of project progress and reporting back to stakeholders.

This role is 100% based in the company offices in Gibraltar (Southern Europe) and is NOT a remote role so you must live in the Gibraltar or Southern Spain area already. You will also need an EU or UK passport, to apply. If you do not have both these things then please do not apply.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the customers to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
• Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product
• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
• Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
• Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team
• Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
• Approve final product before launch
• Accurate and consistent tracking of project progress and reporting back to stakeholders

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a lead software developer or a software architect
• Proven experience working with customers/stakeholders gathering requirements and communicating the requirements (and design) with technical teams is preferred
• Experience in software development and coding in various languages (C#, .NET, Java etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
• Excellent knowledge of UML and other modelling methods
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail
• High quality organizational and leadership skills
