Job summary

Zurich Insurance in Barcelona is seeking a curious Social Media Intern to support the Social Media team from late 2026, ideally November. You will gain hands-on experience in social media operations, insights and strategy, applying classroom learnings to real campaigns and brand initiatives across international markets using Sprinklr.

You will assist with reporting, content scheduling, and coordination with local markets, while developing PowerPoint materials and basic analytics.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business or a related field.
• Strong interest in social media, digital strategy, data and technology – including AI-powered tools.
• Comfortable working with Sprinklr, PowerPoint and Excel for reporting and organization.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Ability to sign a university internship agreement (convenio).
• Available to start within 2026, preferably November.
• Available to work part-time at the office in Barcelona for a 6-month internship.

About the opportunity

We’re looking for a curious, motivatedSocial Media Intern to support our Social Media team from late 2026 onwards, preferably November. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in social media operations, insights and strategy within an international environment and to apply what you are learning in your studies to real campaigns, brand initiatives and AI-powered tools like Sprinklr.

What you’ll do

• Support social media reporting and insights
• Prepare Sprinklr data exports, update simple reporting templates and help organize key insights for internal stakeholders.
• Help manage social media content operations
• Upload, tag, schedule and organize social media content across channels, ensuring accuracy and consistency with our brand and campaign guidelines.
• Coordinate follow-ups with markets
• Support coordination with local markets, maintain trackers for actions and feedback, and help ensure follow-ups are completed on time.
• Assist with Sprinklr platform administration
• Contribute to basic platform administration tasks, documentation updates and quality checks to keep our social listening and publishing setup running smoothly.
• Support strategy presentations and client materials
• Help prepare draft slides, reports and materials in PowerPoint that summarize performance, insights and recommendations for internal clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct desk research on trends and best practices
• Gather examples of social media trends, formats and best practices, and help curate inspiration that can inform future campaigns and content ideas.

What you’ll bring

• Current enrolment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business or a related field
• Strong interest in social media, digital strategy, data and technology – including AI-powered tools
• Comfortable working with Sprinklr (or willing to learn), PowerPoint and Excel for basic reporting and content organization
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; any additional language is a strong plus
• Essential: ability to sign a university internship agreement (convenio) for the duration of the internship
• Essential: availability to start the internship within 2026, preferably in November
• Available to work part‑time at the office in Barcelona, preferably for a 6‑month internship
• Organized, detail‑oriented and proactive attitude, with a strong willingness to learn and take ownership of operational tasks
