A leading consulting firm in Donostia/San Sebastián is seeking an SME & Innovation Finance Specialist to support the EIB project for EU-wide market assessments. Candidates should possess at least a Master’s Degree and a decade of experience in SME finance instruments. Fluent English and Spanish is essential for this role. Formación

• Minimum of 10 years designing and evaluating SME finance instruments.
• Experience with ex-ante assessments and fi-compass tools.
• Must cover multiple EU Member States.

NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the preparation of proposal for the EIB project : ESF+ ERDF EU wide market assessment studies for the 2028+ Programming Period and is searching for non-key experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of the project is building on the long-standing cooperation between the EC and EIB, and the vast experience accumulated in the context of fi-compass on the implementation of FIs, the present assignment aims at providing support to the 27 EU MS and relevant MAs in the justification and design of FIs to be financed by EU funding instruments under shared management in the 2028+ programming period.

Start date : 1 December 2025.

Duration : 15 months

SME & Innovation Finance Specialist

Requirements

• Education at least Master’s Degree level or higher,
• ≥ 10 years designing and evaluating SME guarantee, equity and loan FIs.
• Deep knowledge of venture capital, seed finance, credit-risk sharing.
• Experience with ex-ante assessments and fi-compass tools.
• Covers multiple MS.
• Very good command of English and Spanish.
