Job summary

Johnson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Director of Sleep Lab Services to lead the Sleep Laboratory’s administrative, technical, and quality operations. You will oversee staffing, scheduling, competency validation, and regulatory compliance under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer.

You will ensure adherence to AASM standards, coordinate with the Medical Director, and manage equipment, quality improvement projects, and patient safety initiatives to maintain excellent sleep-testing

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain RPSGT credential.
• Minimum three years of polysomnography experience.
• Minimum one year of supervisory or lead-technologist experience.
• Experience with AASM accreditation or CMS sleep-facility accreditation preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily administrative and technical operations of the Sleep Laboratory.
• Develops staffing plans, workflows, and performance standards; ensures qualified personnel and appropriate coverage.
• Maintains accreditation readiness and regulatory compliance across applicable agencies.
• Collaborates with the Medical Director and hospital leadership to implement clinical protocols and quality measures.
• Ensures sleep studies are scored per AASM guidelines and physician orders; manages equipment maintenance and vendor relations.
