A leading retail company is seeking a GCP Platform Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. This role, based remotely in Spain with occasional trips to Barcelona, involves building a multi-cloud Kubernetes platform and enhancing developer experience through automation. Ideal candidates have over 7 years in SRE or Platform Engineering and expertise in Google Cloud and Kubernetes. Competitive package offered.

Formación

• 7+ years in SRE or Platform Engineering, total 10+ years of experience.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform, GitOps, and observability tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a GCP Platform Site Reliability Engineer to join a leading retail company in Barcelona on a permanent contract.

Location: Remote in Spain (Occasional trips to Barcelona)

Contract type: Permanent, direct with end client

Key responsibilities :

• Build and enhance a multi‑cloud Kubernetes platform to support product teams.
• Automate CI / CD, observability, and infrastructure tools to improve developer experience.
• Deploy, maintain, and monitor cloud infrastructure across large‑scale systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive reliability and scalability initiatives.

Requirements :

• 7+ years in SRE or Platform Engineering (10+ years total experience).
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform, GitOps, and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience in large enterprise environments.
