Cap Ingelec is seeking a Site HSE Officer to join our team in Madrid on major industrial building projects. Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will ensure and maintain compliance with the HSE Policy on construction sites.

Your responsibilities include daily on-site HSE presence, supporting site teams and subcontractors in applying HSE requirements, monitoring site conditions and environmental controls, and driving continuous improvement through incident analysis and corrective actions.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years’ seniority as a Health and Safety officer in the construction sector.
• Solid knowledge of Spanish Health and Safety regulations and standards applicable to construction.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and adaptability to different situations.

• Support site teams and subcontractors in applying HSE requirements, resolving issues and conducting inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Monitor site conditions and HSE compliance, including access routes, signage, collective protection measures and safety equipment.
• Control subcontractor documentation and environmental requirements, including certifications, training, equipment compliance, waste management, pollution prevention and hazardous materials storage.
• Contribute to HSE performance and continuous improvement by monitoring indicators, incident analysis, corrective actions and sharing best practices.

As part of our organizational development and to support our growth aroundmajor industrial building projectsas aGeneral Contractor, we are looking for a Site HSE Officer to join our team in Madrid.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will be ensuring and maintaining compliance with the HSE Policy on our construction sites.

More specifically, your main responsibilities will include:

With a minimum of 5 years’ seniority, you have a proven experience as a Health and Safety officer in the construction sector. With a technical mind-set, you have good knowledge of Spanish Health and Safety regulations and standards applicable to construction.

Your excellent communication, your interpersonal skills and your adaptability to the situations encountered will allow you to succeed in this position and grow within our company.

Speaking fluently Spanish and English, you enjoy multicultural teamwork.

Mainly based on site, close to the construction activities, you are open to frequent travel across Spain.
