Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an EHS Specialist to provide day-to-day EHS support across wind farm sites, warehouses, and service operations in Spain. The role focuses on training, inspections, and ensuring compliance with laws and GE procedures. You will drive risk assessments and support regional EHS programs.

Fluency in English and Spanish/Catalan, 5 years wind/EHS experience, and 50% travel are required. Driving licence and local permits are mandatory to operate across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in wind field operations and/or EHS.
• Permanent Work Permit.
• Availability to travel 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Interpret Laws, Regulations and Procedures per local and national standards.
• Prepare EHS documentation and review others' documents for EHS assessment.
• Train people on laws, regulations and risk mitigation; promote continuous safety improvements.
• Manage site inspections and regulatory compliance across sites.
• Oversee PPE management for staff and visitors and ensure equipment is compliant.
• Support EHS programs, audits, and reporting; liaise with contractors and regulators.
