Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an EHS Specialist to provide day-to-day EHS support across sites in the region, including wind farms, warehouses and service locations. You will liaise with field engineers, managers, contractors and staff, ensuring EHS compliance and training across the defined scope.

Role requires 5+ years in wind/EHS, fluent English and local languages, strong risk assessment skills, and a willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Technical EHS background with regulatory understanding.
• Master's degree in EHS and local regulation familiarity.
• Fluent English, Spanish and Catalan skills.
• Minimum 5 years wind field operations and/or EHS experience.
• Willingness to travel 50% and hold a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Interpret laws, regulations, and procedures for EHS adherence.
• Support EHS programs within GE Vernova regions and sites.
• Develop and review site procedures and risk assessments.
• Train staff and contractors on EHS requirements and risk mitigation.
• Manage EHS documentation, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
