Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an EHS professional to interpret laws, regulations, and procedures across local and national standards. The role supports the Wind Energy division, ensuring access for employees and contractors to sites, updating site procedures, and maintaining emergency plans.

Qualifications

• Technical background in electricity, mechanical, etc.
• Locally professional master's degree in EHS with ergonomics and safety qualifications
• Strong knowledge of EHS risk assessment, audits, and regulatory compliance
• Availability to travel 50% of the time
• Must hold a valid driving licence and permanent work permit

Responsibilities

• Interpret laws, regulations and procedures across local and national EHS standards
• Prepare and review EHS documentation and ensure customer EHS requirements are followed
• Update and implement site procedures and emergency plans
• Train personnel on laws, regulations and risk mitigation
• Lead EHS audits, incidents, investigations and root cause analysis
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontracts and local authorities on EHS matters
• Support region EHS manager and service director in decision making
