Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking Simulation Software Engineers to reinforce its Future Capabilities Simulation team in Getafe. You will design and develop HMI software for simulation solutions, derive system requirements, and architect modules for new simulator functionalities.

The role requires experience with web technologies, JavaScript, Node.js, ExpressJS, and GIS tools, within an Agile environment.

Qualificações

• Degree or Master Degree in Software / Aeronautical / Telecommunication Engineering or related discipline.
• Web technologies and full-stack JavaScript development.
• Experience with ES6, Web Components, proxies, async/workers, HTML Canvas.
• Experience with Node.js and ExpressJS; template engines such as Pug, Mustache, or Dust.
• GIS libraries like Openlayers, Cesium, MapLibre-GPL; Geoserver knowledge.
• Experience with Electron; WebRTC, ffmpeg or gstreamer; WebGL.
• HMI development with Qt; C++ and/or Python.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop HMI software for our simulation solutions.
• Derive system requirements from operational requirements.
• Architect software modules for new simulator functionalities.
• Perform integration testing.
• Occasional travels abroad (mainly within the EU).
