Mallorca Map is seeking a reliable Shipyard Scaffolder to join our operations at Muelle de Palma in Palma. You will assemble and dismantle scaffolding safely, ensuring compliance with maritime safety standards and site instructions.

The role offers a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00, with afternoons and weekends off. Initial temporary contract with strong potential to move to permanent seasonal status (fijo discontinuo).

Formación

• Formal training in construction risk prevention (PRL) and heights work.
• Solid scaffolding experience, preferably shipyard or industrial.
• Forklift or elevating platform permits valued.
• Spanish or ability to follow safety procedures on site.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble and dismantle heavy-duty scaffolding safely inside the shipyard.
• Ensure temporary structures meet safety guidelines and specs for maritime work.
• Work at height following risk prevention measures and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with shipyard crews and supervisors to maintain workflow Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling and dismantling heavy-duty scaffolding equipment safely and efficiently inside the shipyard environment.
• Ensuring that all temporary working structures conform strictly to safety guidelines and technical specifications required for maritime work.
• Carrying out work high off the ground, adhering at all times to height safety protocols and workplace risk prevention measures.
• Collaborating effectively with shipyard crews, supervisors, and other trades on site to maintain a smooth project workflow from Monday to Friday.

Requirements

• Mandatory formal training in construction risk prevention (Occupational Risk Prevention / PRL) as well as certified training for working at heights.
• Solid practical experience working as a scaffolder, preferably within a shipyard or specialized industrial setting.
• Possession of a forklift operator license or aerial work platform (elevating platform / cherry picker) permit is strongly valued and considered a distinct advantage.
• Fluency in Spanish or sufficient language competence to follow safety procedures and communicate on site effectively.

Compensation & Working Hours

• An annual gross salary ranging between 24,000 EUR and 26,000 EUR, determined according to your skills and demonstrated experience.
• A fixed full-time schedule working from Monday to Friday, between 07:00 and 15:00, providing free afternoons and weekends off.
• An initial temporary employment contract with the real possibility of moving to a permanent seasonal contract (fijo discontinuo).
• A prime work location directly at Muelle de Palma, putting you right at the center of Mallorca's nautical industry.
