You will assemble mechanical, electrical and structural components, commission systems, read blueprints, and uphold safety standards. A FP Grado Medio or equivalent and at least 24 months of elevator experience are required.

Qualifications

• Intermediate vocational training or equivalent technical qualification.
• At least 24 months of hands-on elevator assembly/installation experience.
• Solid knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
• Previous experience with multinational elevator companies is preferred.
• Valid Class B driving licence and a safety-conscious, autonomous work approach.

Responsibilities

Job description

Are you an experienced technical professional looking for a secure position in Mallorca? An established elevator installation and maintenance company is currently hiring an Elevator Installation Technician to carry out assembly and commissioning projects across Palma. This is a full-time, permanent role with a fixed daytime schedule, providing an excellent opportunity to apply your technical craft on the island.

In this role, you will handle the mechanical, structural, and electrical setup of elevator systems on installation sites. Your core tasks will include:

• Assembling structural components, guide rails, hoisting machines, doors, and electrical control systems.
• Conducting equipment commissioning, calibration adjustments, and initial maintenance testing.
• Reading and interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer documentation accurately.
• Maintaining a rigorous commitment to occupational risk prevention and workplace safety standards.
• Working both independently and cooperatively within a team to meet installation milestones and project targets.

To be considered for this role, you bring solid technical training and demonstrated experience in the lift sector. The requirements are:

• Intermediate vocational training degree (FP Grado Medio or equivalent technical qualification).
• A minimum of 24 months of practical experience in elevator assembly and installation.
• Solid technical knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Previous professional experience in multinational elevator companies.
• A valid class B driving licence.
• A responsible mindset with an emphasis on quality execution, safety compliance, and autonomous work.

The company provides stable terms and clear employment conditions in Palma:

• A permanent full-time employment contract starting on 30/11/2026.
• A gross annual salary of €27,700 distributed across 12 monthly payments, with potential adjustments based on your professional experience and profile.
• A continuous weekly working schedule from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 and 16:00.
• Remunerated overtime paid at €21 gross per hour when required for specific project completion, operational needs, or on-site incidents.
