Destinus in Madrid is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead a 25–30 person operational unit on the production floor. You will drive daily output, quality, and safety targets, report to the Production Manager, and ensure clear communication of line status and shift performance.

You will implement 5S, visual management, continuous flow, and standardization, remove obstacles with Maintenance and Logistics, and coach team members to higher performance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Formación

• 3–5 years in a Shift Supervisor or similar role on a factory line.
• Experience leading teams of 20+ people.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologies.
• Experience managing shift records, incidents, KPIs, and performance reporting.
• Ability to stay organized and drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate English skills.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coordinate, and motivate an operational team of 25–30 FTEs to meet daily production, quality, and safety targets.

• Identify and remove obstacles by coordinating with Maintenance, Logistics, and Quality teams.
• Supervise shift administration, including production records, attendance, incidents, consumption data, and downtime.
• Monitor shift KPIs and incidents, proposing corrective actions aligned with Production Manager objectives.
• Train and develop team members to promote accountability and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coordinate, and motivate an operational team of 25 to 30 FTEs, ensuring daily production, quality, and safety targets are achieved.
• Report directly to the Production Manager, maintaining clear communication on production line status, shift performance, and the team's operational needs.
• Implement and maintain operational discipline and working methodologies, including 5S, visual management, continuous flow, and standardization.
• Identify and remove obstacles affecting production flow, coordinating with Maintenance, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure continuity of operations.
• Supervise and maintain accurate shift administration, including production records, attendance tracking, incident reports, consumption data, and downtime, ensuring full traceability and accuracy.
• Monitor key shift performance indicators, including incidents, non-quality events, performance, and production plan achievement, and propose corrective actions aligned with the Production Manager's objectives.
• Train and develop operational team members, promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

What You'll Need

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Shift Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar role within an industrial, manufacturing, or assembly environment.
• Proven experience leading operational teams of more than 20 people.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S methodologies.
• Experience managing shift administration, including production records, incidents, KPIs, and performance reporting.
• Ability to maintain operational discipline, organization, and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.
• Intermediate English skills.
• Availability to travel when required.
