HCLTech Oviedo busca un ServiceNow Solution Designer / Developer para liderar y entregar soluciones ITSM, SecOps, HRSD, CMDB y Asset Management. Colaborarás con partes interesadas para traducir requerimientos en diseños técnicos, desarrollar integraciones y dirigir implementaciones escalables, seguras y de alto rendimiento.

Se valora experiencia en integraciones REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, Script Includes y buenas prácticas de diseño en ServiceNow.

Formación

• Experiencia en administración y desarrollo de ServiceNow.
• Capacidad para diseñar soluciones y especificaciones técnicas.
• Experiencia con integraciones REST/SOAP y seguridad.

Responsabilidades

• Revisar y analizar nuevas solicitudes de negocio y requerimientos de mejora de ServiceNow.
• Realizar ingeniería de requerimientos junto a stakeholders.
• Evaluar y optimizar procesos empresariales para mayor eficiencia.
• Diseñar soluciones robustas acorde a buenas prácticas.
• Desarrollar integraciones entre ServiceNow y sistemas externos.
• Conducir implementaciones técnicas, configuración y administración.

We are looking for a ServiceNow Solution Designer / Developer!

As a ServiceNow Solution Designer / Developer at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing ServiceNow solutions for our global clients. This position blends business analysis, consulting, solution architecture, and hands‑on development, with a primary focus on IT Service Management (ITSM), Security Operations (SecOps), Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and Asset Management. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high‑performing ServiceNow implementations that drive operational excellence and business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze new business requests and enhancement requirements related to ServiceNow.
• Conduct requirements engineering in close partnership with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Evaluate, challenge, and optimize existing business processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Act as a consultant and trusted advisor, guiding customers on ServiceNow best practices and platform capabilities.
• Design robust ServiceNow solutions adhering to platform standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects and internal designers to ensure cohesive and scalable solution delivery.
• Develop detailed user stories and technical specifications to guide development efforts.
• Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange.
• Lead technical implementation, including platform development, configuration, and administration.
• Drive continuous improvement across ITSM, SecOps, CMDB, and Asset Management modules.
• Configure and develop platform components based on business and technical requirements.
• Support ongoing ServiceNow platform optimization through high‑quality design, implementation, and documentation.

Skill Requirements

• Strong background in requirements engineering and business process analysis.
• Proven consulting mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• In‑depth experience with ServiceNow administration and solution development.
• Proficiency in creating detailed solution designs and technical specifications.
• Advanced JavaScript programming expertise, including GlideRecord, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and asynchronous/synchronous design patterns.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with ServiceNow backend extensibility, including Script Includes, GlideSystem (gs), GlideAjax, RESTMessageV2, and the ServiceNow Table API.
• Senior‑level experience with integrations across REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server orchestration, IntegrationHub flows, and webhook/event‑driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of authentication and security models such as OAuth, Basic Auth, and Mutual TLS.
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer) are highly desirable.

Nice To Have

• Experience working in multinational or large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with additional ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITOM, CSM) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to drive innovation and continuous process improvement.
