HCLTech busca un Data Engineer experto para Galicia, España, con foco en Python, Pandas y NumPy. Trabajarás en ingesta, transformación y validación de datos, desarrollando pipelines ETL/ELT escalables y soluciones de producción robustas.

Se requiere experiencia en ingeniería de datos, arquitecturas de pipelines y prácticas DevOps para entrega continua. Se valorará Azure y entornos cloud, con colaboración entre equipos para impulsar la eficiencia operativa y la calidad de datos.

Formación

• Experiencia avanzada en Python, Pandas y NumPy.
• Fondo sólido en ingeniería de datos, incluyendo ingestión, preprocesamiento, limpieza, transformación, validación y enriquecimiento.
• Diseño e implementación de pipelines ETL/ELT escalables y mantenibles.
• Desarrollo de marcos y componentes reutilizables para procesamiento de datos a gran escala.
• Optimización de pipelines para rendimiento, fiabilidad y eficiencia operativa.
• Buenas prácticas de software: código limpio, diseño modular, pruebas y revisión de código.
• Experiencia con conjuntos de datos grandes y complejos en entornos de producción.
• Capacidad para transformar prototipos analíticos en soluciones de producción.
• Conocimiento de DevOps y ciclo de vida de entrega de software.
• Diseño y mantenimiento de CI/CD para build, test, despliegue y release.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar pipelines de datos robustos y eficientes para ingesta y transformación de datos.
• Asegurar calidad de datos y enriquecimiento de datos para analítica.
• Diseñar componentes reutilizables para procesamiento a gran escala.
• Implementar observabilidad, monitoreo y registro en servicios de datos.
• Colaborar con equipos multidisciplinares y gestiones de stakeholders.
• Mover soluciones de prototipos a soluciones de producción fiables.

Our goal is to strengthen the brand in Spain. We are looking for an expert to work as Data Engineer!

• Extensive hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade solutions in Python, with advanced expertise in Pandas and NumPy.
• Strong background in data engineering, including data ingestion, preprocessing, cleansing, transformation, validation, and enrichment.
• Design and implementation of scalable and maintainable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Development of reusable frameworks and components for large-scale data processing.
• Optimization of data pipelines for performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Application of software engineering best practices, including clean code, modular design, testing, and code reviews.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets in production environments.
• Ability to transform analytical prototypes into production-ready solutions.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and software delivery lifecycle.
• Design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, deployment, and release processes.
• Experience creating and managing Python deployment artifacts, packages, and libraries.
• Implementation of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities for production services.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting applications in production environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and/or other cloud environments)
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Results-oriented mindset focused on scalability, robustness, security, and operational excellence.
• Proven ability to take solutions end-to-end, from development through industrialization, deployment, and ongoing support.
