A global process technology firm is seeking a Service Sales Manager in Madrid to oversee service sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Service Sales Manager – Valmet

Valmet is a leading global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation, and services for different industries. They are leaders in the pulp, paper, and energy industries, and with their automation systems and flow control solutions they have presence in many other industries.

The position is based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona and covers the Spanish market.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure effective and continuously improved after‑sales service delivery.
  • Actively work to increase service sales while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Services teams to offer value‑added solutions and improve service performance.
  • Establish the operational framework aligned with the service strategy.
  • Manage budgets, drive new service business opportunities, implement service agreements, and maintain an accurate Installed Base to support maintenance development.
  • Lead and develop the service team to ensure high standards.
  • Engage proactively with customers and promote strict compliance with the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in after‑sales management or service operations within industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge in contract management and customer service processes.
  • Good level of English – mandatory.
