This role is for a Service Owner - Project Manager to join the Product team, responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definitions of the company's products. The core mission is to manage demand from different business units, balancing business needs with technical constraints.
A service is defined as any multimedia project (like guidance, staff augmentation, or bug fixing) that leverages the company's expertise in multimedia technologies and GStreamer.
As a Service Owner, you will lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to ensure the on-time delivery of value. The main responsibilities are:
Delivery & Consulting Ownership: Supervise the service delivery lifecycle from inception to closure, ensuring quality deliverables and managing client expectations and conflicts
Squad Management: Lead, motivate, and guide a multidisciplinary team on Agile practices and self-organization. You will drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, eliminating waste, and promoting the use of AI tools. You'll also facilitate conflict resolution.
Operational Management: Define requirements and content generation. Translate the Technical Product Manager's vision into operational criteria, prioritize tasks based on business needs vs. technical constraints, and monitor compliance with service agreements. You must also deliver weekly team performance data and insights to the Product Manager and the Business Unit Manager.
