Eaton is hiring a Service Digital Integration Solution Engineer in a Hybrid role based in Zaragoza or another location in Spain. You will design, deploy, and support power management and monitoring systems across data centres and industrial sites, collaborating with cross-functional teams to standardise solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years with power management systems, strong English, and willingness to travel within EMEA.

Formación

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Power Management, Automation, or a related field.
• 3+ years' experience with power management systems, ideally in data-centre environments.
• Willingness to travel within EMEA (≈30%).

Responsabilidades

• Design technical solutions for EPMS, DCIM, and PSA projects across EMEA - system architecture, topology drawings, hardware BOMs, project schedules, and detailed proposal documentation.
• Implement and deploy power management and mission-critical monitoring systems (Brightlayer, Foreseer, Power Xpert, PowerNet, next-gen platforms) as well as EPMS, SCADA, and Energy Management solutions across data centres, industrial sites, and commercial buildings.
• Define deployment methodology and coordinate site execution by local teams, third parties, or directly.
• Own L3 software support escalated from the central technical support team; provide applied engineering consultation on system integration, installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, and training.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Project Management, and Engineering to manage scope variations, flag technical risks, propose mitigations, and deliver on time.
• Grow through Eaton University and training; travel for site visits and project execution.

Our Digital Integration Solutions team has 20+ years of experience deploying and supporting mission-critical digital power management software for data centres, industrial sites, and commercial buildings across EMEA. As a Service Digital Integration Solution Engineer, you will be at the heart of that work - designing, deploying, and supporting the systems that keep critical infrastructure running safely and efficiently.

What you'll do:

Design & Propose

Design technical solutions for EPMS, DCIM, and PSA projects across EMEA - system architecture, topology drawings, hardware BOMs, project schedules, and detailed proposal documentation (budgetary and binding).

Implement & Deploy

Implement and deploy power management and mission-critical monitoring systems (Brightlayer, Foreseer, Power Xpert, PowerNet, next-gen platforms) as well as EPMS, SCADA, and Energy Management solutions across data centres, industrial sites, and commercial buildings.

Define deployment methodology - work method statements, validation criteria - and coordinate site execution by local teams, third parties, or directly.

Support & Consult

Own L3 software support escalated from the central technical support team; provide applied engineering consultation on system integration, installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, and training.

Collaborate & Standardise

Work cross-functionally with Sales, Project Management, and Engineering to manage scope variations, flag technical risks, propose mitigations, and deliver on time.

Produce and validate engineering documentation with internal teams and external partners.

Drive knowledge sharing through technical presentations and contribute to the standardisation of deliverables, processes, and tools within the System Integration Services team.

Grow

Travel as needed for site visits, customer meetings, and project execution.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Power Management, Automation, or a related field.
• 3+ years' experience with power management systems, ideally in data-centre environments.

Skills

• Availability to travel minimum of 30% within EMEA.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution - MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, power quality meters, protective relays, and EPMS/DCIM systems.
• Software, networking & protocols - Windows/Linux, databases, Serial/Ethernet/Fibre networking, and industrial protocols (Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP); able to troubleshoot hardware and interfaces end to end.
• Hands-on diagnostics - test equipment, fault-finding, and repair of automation and power management systems.
• Fluent English; strong communicator comfortable working across diverse, multicultural teams.
• Self-driven and organised - able to solve high-complexity problems independently and juggle multiple deadlines.
• Safety-first mindset with the conviction to stop unsafe practices, and high personal integrity.
• PLC, HMI, IED programming and logic control concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with power system automation software or Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM).
