Eaton is hiring a Service Digital Integration Solution Engineer for a hybrid role based in Zaragoza or another location in Spain. You will design, deploy, and support power management and mission-critical monitoring systems across data centres, industrial sites, and commercial buildings in EMEA.

You will own deployment methodologies, coordinate site work, and provide L3 software support and engineering consultation, while collaborating with Sales, Project Management, and Engineering teams.

Formación

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Power Management, Automation, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience with power management systems, ideally in data-centre environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design and propose technical solutions for EPMS, DCIM, and PSA projects across EMEA with architecture drawings and budgets.
• Implement and deploy power management and mission-critical monitoring systems and related software.
• Define deployment methodology and coordinate site execution with local teams or third parties.
• Provide L3 software support and engineering consultation on system integration and maintenance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to manage scope, risks, and timely delivery.
• Produce engineering documentation and drive knowledge sharing within the team.
• Invest in professional development and travel as needed for site visits and meetings.

Service Digital Integration Solution Engineer

Our Digital Integration Solutions team has 20+ years of experience deploying and supporting mission-critical digital power management software for data centres, industrial sites, and commercial buildings across EMEA. As a Service Digital Integration Solution Engineer, you will be at the heart of that work — designing, deploying, and supporting the systems that keep critical infrastructure running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Design & Propose
• Design technical solutions for EPMS, DCIM, and PSA projects across EMEA — system architecture, topology drawings, hardware BOMs, project schedules, and detailed proposal documentation (budgetary and binding).
• Implement & Deploy
• Implement and deploy power management and mission-critical monitoring systems (Brightlayer, Foreseer, Power Xpert, PowerNet, next-gen platforms) as well as EPMS, SCADA, and Energy Management solutions across data centres, industrial sites, and commercial buildings.
• Define deployment methodology — work method statements, validation criteria — and coordinate site execution by local teams, third parties, or directly.
• Support & Consult
• Own L3 software support escalated from the central technical support team; provide applied engineering consultation on system integration, installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, and training.
• Collaborate & Standardise
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Project Management, and Engineering to manage scope variations, flag technical risks, propose mitigations, and deliver on time.
• Produce and validate engineering documentation with internal teams and external partners.
• Drive knowledge sharing through technical presentations and contribute to the standardisation of deliverables, processes, and tools within the System Integration Services team.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Power Management, Automation, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience with power management systems, ideally in data‑centre environments.

Skills

• Availability to travel minimum of 30% within EMEA.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution — MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, power quality meters, protective relays, and EPMS/DCIM systems.
• Software, networking & protocols — Windows/Linux, databases, Serial/Ethernet/Fibre networking, and industrial protocols (Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP); able to troubleshoot hardware and interfaces end to end.
• Hands‑on diagnostics — test equipment, fault‑finding, and repair of automation and power management systems.
• Fluent English; strong communicator comfortable working across diverse, multicultural teams.
• Self‑driven and organised — able to solve high‑complexity problems independently and juggle multiple deadlines.
• Safety‑first mindset with the conviction to stop unsafe practices, and high personal integrity.
• PLC, HMI, IED programming and logic control concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with power system automation software or Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM).
