T-Systems Iberia, part of the Deutsche Telekom Group, is seeking an experienced hardware performance engineer to join the Telco Hub in Madrid. You will operate a dedicated hardware performance lab and benchmark server platforms across major vendors.

The role centers on testing, validation of new hardware, and data-driven reporting to support architecture and procurement decisions. We value Linux, automation, and a collaborative, global team culture.

Formación

• Solid understanding of x86 server architectures and datacenter hardware
• Experience with benchmarking methods and performance analysis
• Linux operating experience (RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES)
• Basic automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Ansible)
• Ability to interpret technical results and create concise reports

Activity description

The project focuses on operating a specialized laboratory dedicated to conducting performance and efficiency tests on various server hardware. The main focus is on tests aimed at optimizing the Private Telco Cloud using DT technology. The goal is to evaluate the performance and efficiency of the deployed hardware and to test new hardware types to validate innovative technologies.
