Ge Vernova is seeking an Lead Engineer Electrical Cables Design Engineer to own the development of electrical cables and harnesses from concept to service life. You will work across the Wind business, collaborating with global teams to ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met.

The role requires 5 years of electrical design experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel to wind farms. English fluency is essential for cross-functional communication.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical design experience.
• Experience with wind, power generation, or industrial environments preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design, own, and execute development of electrical cables and harnesses from concept through validation, serial production and service life.
• Act as focal point for support to sourcing, manufacturing, projects and services.
• Drive turbine reliability and performance improvements via site activities like PAC, RCA, and NC.
• Own RE-120 for electrical cables and harnesses, ensuring compliance.
• Apply SQDC principles to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Integrate lessons learned and safety improvements into the design process.
• Own component validation activities and coordinate validation testing procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for reliable, cost-effective solutions.
• Support continuous improvement and standardization for product performance.
• Self-manage daily operations to meet priorities with the technical leader.
