Job summary

Inovance, a global leader in industrial automation, is seeking a Senior Warehouse & Logistics Engineer to lead and develop the Spain warehouse operation. You will oversee end-to-end activities from receiving to delivery, drive inventory accuracy, optimize layouts, and implement standardized processes across the regional hub.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of proven experience in managing stocks for the Industrial Market.
• Experience in centralized control and management (e.g., European central warehouse, regional hub).
• Valuable degree in Industrial Automation or related fields.
• Good level of Spanish and English.
• Valid forklift license and used to moving packages manually.
• Desirable to live in Olèrdola or Vilafranca or the surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Receive stock from suppliers and allocate it into the warehouse using Sage X3 ERP, matching with delivery notes and resolving discrepancies.
• Collect, package, and prepare materials ordered by customers, focusing on material care and quality.
• Ensure timely delivery of orders to customers, coordinating with the Customer Service department to meet due dates.
• Warehouse & Inventory Management: Maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe warehouse according to standardized best practices.
• Analyze statistics, compile accurate stock reports, and keep inventory up to date by fixing discrepancies.
• Maintain and upgrade the product database in the system (new articles, changes, etc.).
• Manage returns of any product in accordance with quality procedures and communicate with quality representatives.
• Cross-functional Collaboration & Administration: Provide administrative support to various departments and build solid relationships through clear communication.

Position Summary

The Senior Warehouse&Logistics Engineer is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end warehouse operations, from receiving to delivery. You will act as a key player in ensuring inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse layouts, and driving operational excellence. Reporting to the Logistic Manager, you will lead the local warehouse team, coordinate with cross-functional departments, and play a critical role in the centralized control and management of our regional warehousing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive stock from suppliers and allocate it into the warehouse using Sage X3 ERP, matching with delivery notes and resolving any discrepancies.
• Collect, package, and prepare all materials ordered by customers, focusing on material care and quality.
• Ensure timely delivery of orders to customers, coordinating with the Customer Service department to meet committed due dates.
• Warehouse & Inventory Management:
• Maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe warehouse according to our standardized best practices.
• Analyze statistics, compile accurate stock reports, and keep inventory up to date by fixing any discrepancies.
• Maintain and upgrade the product database in the system when needed (new articles, changes, etc.).
• Manage the returns of any product in accordance with quality procedures, ensuring administrative connection with quality representatives and meeting required deadlines.
• Cross-functional Collaboration & Administration:
• Provide administrative support to various departments of the company (Customer service team, Sales team, Finance team, Technical team etc.).
• Build solid relationships within the company through adequate, clear, and relevant communication.

Qualifications & Experience

Over 8-10 years of proven experience in managing stocks for the Industrial Market.

Highly desirable: Experience in centralized control and management (e.g., managing and controlling a European central warehouse, regional hub, or centralized warehousing operations).

Valuable degree in Industrial Automation or related fields.

Good level of Spanish and English

Valid forklift license and used to moving packages manually.

Desirable to live in Olèrdola or Vilafranca or the surrounding area.

Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical capacity with a pragmatic approach to fixing inventory issues.

ERP Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with Sage X3 (or similar ERP systems).

Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to keep a warehouse well‑organized and standardized.

Communication: Clear and relevant communication skills to interact with various departments and external suppliers.
