Job summary

Preply in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Visual Designer to shape how our brand comes to life within the product. You will partner with Product Designers and PMs, framing opportunities from project inception and leading visual solutions through delivery.

You’ll own challenging design directions, translate ambiguous briefs into clear visuals, and evolve our visual language to meet the needs of Brand and Product teams, while mentoring peers and collaborating with engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in visual, brand or digital design.
• Experience leading projects directly with product teams.
• Strong foundations in typography, composition, colour, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• Excellent Figma skills.
• Ability to balance quality, scope, and timelines.
• Experience with illustration or motion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shape projects from the start with squad planning and briefs.
• Lead visual explorations and deliver polished outcomes.
• Develop solutions across photography, illustration, 3D imagery, typography.
• Represent Brand in product decisions and align with squads.
• Strengthen the shared visual system with reusable assets.
• Prioritize work with Brand and Product leads.
• Provide constructive feedback and collaborate with engineers.
• Scale creative solutions through AI with prompts and workflows.
