This role requires 5+ years in trade support and expertise in international trade documentation and customs. Candidates should be fluent in English and Italian, with strong proficiency in trade management systems and Excel. The position involves liaising with multiple departments to ensure efficient workflows and compliance with trade regulations.

• Proficiency in trade management systems and advanced Excel.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Willing to relocate to Italy, Spain or Slovenia.

Responsabilidades

Redstone Commodity Search are working with an agricultural trading house looking to hire a Senior Trade Support specialist to join their team in Europe.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Manage and validate the full post-trade process, including contract review, trade capture, documentation control, shipment coordination, and settlement accuracy.
• Ensure all transactions comply with applicable international trade regulations, customs procedures, and internal policies, including oversight of import/export documentation.
• Identify and resolve trade discrepancies, settlement breaks, and documentation issues; implement controls to reduce operational and financial risk.
• Act as a primary liaison between trading, logistics, finance, and external stakeholders; lead initiatives to improve workflows, reporting accuracy, and system efficiency.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 5+ years of experience in trade support, trade operations, or commodity operations within a physical trading or international trade environment.
• Strong understanding of international trade documentation, Incoterms, customs procedures, and trade finance processes.
• Proficiency in trade management systems and advanced Excel; strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Located or willing to relocate to Italy, Spain or Slovenia.
