Confidential in Barcelona seeks an Execution Specialist to coordinate shipments, manage trade documentation, and support vessel operations across international markets.

The role requires a degree in a related field, about 4 years of import/export experience, and fluency in English and Spanish, with knowledge of SAP and Incoterms advantageous.

Formación

• Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• Approximately 4 years of experience in import/export operations, trade operations, logistics, or similar environment.
• Experience with bulk shipments is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the execution of contracts and vessel operations from contract confirmation through final invoicing and documentation.
• Serve as a key point of contact for traders, brokers, port agents, inspection companies, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and proactively manage shipment activities to ensure timely execution and resolution of operational issues.
• Prepare and issue shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, sanitary certificates, and other trade-related documents.
• Ensure timely distribution and delivery of documentation in line with operational and financial deadlines.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and performance indicators.
• Support a strong culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

An international company operating within the commodities, logistics, and supply chain sector is seeking an Execution Specialist to join its Trade Operations team in Barcelona.

This position plays a critical role in coordinating shipments, managing trade documentation, and ensuring the smooth execution of contracts and vessel operations while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across international markets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the execution of contracts and assigned vessel operations from contract confirmation through to final invoicing and documentation.
• Serve as a key point of contact for traders, brokers, port agents, inspection companies, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and proactively manage shipment activities to ensure timely execution and resolution of operational issues.
• Prepare and issue shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, sanitary certificates, and other trade-related documents.
• Ensure timely distribution and delivery of documentation in line with operational and financial deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 4 years of experience in import/export operations, trade operations, logistics, or a similar environment.
• Experience with bulk shipments is highly desirable.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Additional language skills such as French, German, or Portuguese are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Familiarity with international trade contracts (GAFTA, FOSFA, Incoterms, ANEC) is preferred.
• Understanding of international payment methods including Letters of Credit, CAD, and Documentary Collections is an asset.
