Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst for a fully remote team. You will identify, analyze, and disseminate actionable threat intelligence to protect organizations globally, leveraging advanced tools to track threat actors and TTPs.

Remote-first environment offers flexible work from anywhere within operational regions. You will produce timely intelligence reports, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with incident response and security operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years in threat intelligence or related security roles.
• Ability to interpret large data sets from diverse sources.
• Strong knowledge of cyber threats, APTs, malware and attack vectors.
• Experience with TIPs and SIEM platforms; scripting desirable.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
• Certs such as GCTI/CTI are advantageous.
• Familiarity with geopolitical factors affecting cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze global cyber threat intelligence sources.
• Identify and track APTs and other actors.
• Develop threat actor profiles, TTPs, and IOCs.
• Produce reports, briefings, and alerts for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IR/SOC teams to provide context and support remediation.
• Refine threat hunting methodologies based on intelligence.
• Contribute to TI platforms and tooling improvements.
• Present findings to technical and executive audiences.
• Mentor junior analysts and grow TI capabilities.
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends and defenses.
