Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst specializing in Threat Intelligence. This remote-first role involves monitoring threat data from OSINT and dark web sources, identifying TTPs, and delivering actionable intelligence to strengthen client defenses.

You will produce concise intelligence reports and briefings for technical and executive audiences, collaborate with security teams, and help refine threat hunting methodologies in a global, distributed setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity with 3+ in threat intelligence.
• Experience with TIPs and SIEM systems.
• Proficiency analyzing malware, logs, and forensic artifacts.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat modeling.
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Python scripting for data analysis is a plus.
• OSINT gathering techniques and tools familiarity.
• Ability to work remotely in a fast-paced environment.
• CISSP or GIAC certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret threat intel data from OSINT, dark web, and feeds.
• Identify emerging threats, attack vectors, and TTPs.
• Create actionable threat intel reports and executive briefings.
• Provide alerts and recommendations to incident response teams and SOCs.
• Research threat actors, malware, and relevant vulnerabilities.
• Develop threat hunting playbooks and methodologies.
• Collaborate to integrate threat intel into monitoring and response.
