Job summary

Dow Jones is looking for an experienced professional to drive adoption of new tools and ways of working within Technology. You will build internal tools, automate workflows and create scalable enablement programs that influence adoption across teams.

The role blends analysis and execution, requires strong stakeholder management, and offers a hybrid remote/in-office setup in Barcelona. Experience with AI, scripting and data visualization is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building with AI tools, such as workflow automations, internal apps or agents.
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting or low-code approach (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Google Apps Script or SQL).
• Good judgement on AI output: you review, test and question what the tools produce.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills, with examples of influencing without authority.
• Experience with data analysis and visualisation to show progress and guide decisions.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Confluence and Jira.

The Strategy Operations team supports both our people and our processes across Technology, removing barriers and scaling growth opportunities.

Within that team, TechElevate drives learning & development, change management, and enablement experiences that strengthen capability and improve how Technology works.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy Operations, this role is focused on turning change into adoption at scale.

This is an individual contributor role for someone who can move comfortably between analysis and execution: spotting what will make Tech more successful, building the program to support that change, and then scaling it across the organization through training, workshops, communications, and strong operational follow-through.

You Will:

• Build and maintain internal tools, automations and agents that improve team workflows and reporting.
• Use AI tools such as Claude and Gemini to prototype quickly, then test and document what you ship.

You Have:

• Exposure to project or programme delivery in a technology or operations setting.
