Job summary

Accenture PLC in Madrid seeks a Legal Contracting Associate Manager to lead complex client transactions at the intersection of law, technology, and business. You will review, draft, and negotiate commercial and technology agreements while advising internal stakeholders on legal, commercial, and risk-management matters.

You will structure deals, collaborate with senior contracting lawyers and business partners, and contribute to guidelines, toolkits, and knowledge resources while supporting

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent qualification.
• Authorization and license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• At least five years of transactional experience in digital, consulting, systems integration, and/or outsourcing.
• Two years of experience negotiating IP and data-privacy matters.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of Spanish legislation relevant to the role.
• Strong negotiation strategies and tactics.
• Ability to manage a high volume of transactions independently.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology-based agreements.
• Understanding of finance, accounting, marketing, and management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, and close client transactions from legal and business perspectives.
• Collaborate with senior contracting legal professionals and internal stakeholders for negotiations.
• Review, draft, and negotiate master services, outsourcing, SOWs, SLAs, licensing, SaaS, data-transfer, and RFPs.
• Support agreements involving cloud, blockchain security, automation, and system integration.
• Work with senior legal professionals on complex contracts and deal structures.
• Advise executives on legal and risk-management matters.
• Monitor developments affecting the company and clients, incorporating insights into transactional practices.
• Develop subject-matter expertise to support the Legal function and wider business.
• Contribute to internal guidelines, toolkits, and knowledge resources.
• Support and implement Legal Group initiatives.
• Continue developing as a commercially focused, technology-enabled contracting professional.
