Job summary

Oesia Group is seeking a Technical Manager to lead a major Madrid-based project in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. The role requires about 6 years of experience and the ability to relocate to a stable project site in Madrid.

The position involves leading a multidisciplinary team through all lifecycle phases, coordinating design, development, integration and validation of avionics systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance with DO-178 and DO-254 standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• Extensive experience in complex technological environments, preferably in avionics, defence or aeronautical systems.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of avionics systems such as Navigation, communications, mission, sensors and/or control; Embedded systems integration.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams with motivation, clarity and a results-oriented approach.
• Strategic vision, initiative and a focus on technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team, coordinating key project areas and ensuring excellence throughout all phases of the system lifecycle.
• Assign tasks, monitor workload, and support the resolution of technical blockers.
• Coordinate the design, development, integration, and validation of avionics systems.
• Manage the system lifecycle, from requirements definition through to entry into service.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards and best practices for avionics and safety-critical systems (DO-178, DO-254, ARINC, etc., as applicable).
• Act as the technical interface with other departments, customers, and project stakeholders.
