Candidates should have over 5 years of relevant experience and solid knowledge in system engineering and product life cycles. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required. Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer / Architect in the Automotive industry.
• Solid experience in the whole product life cycle from requirements to implementation.
• Experience in powertrain, battery management, or ADAS system engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee system engineering and architecture for cutting-edge automotive systems.
• Convert customer requirements into detailed system specifications.
• Establish testing requirements and support verification and validation efforts.
• Participate in hands-on projects including proof-of-concept development.

We are seeking an experienced

System Engineer / Architect

for our client, a global automotive supplier undergoing expansion in Barcelona. With a team of over 100 employees worldwide and a growing local team, our client is at the forefront of developing next-generation, high-performance electrical powertrain systems that are transforming the electric vehicle market. Serving primarily OEM clients, and Tier 1 Suppliers, they are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the industry.

Oversee system engineering and architecture for cutting-edge automotive systems.

Convert customer requirements into detailed system specifications, covering electronics, mechanics, and software documentation.

Establish testing requirements and methods, supporting verification and validation efforts.

Participate in hands-on projects, including proof-of-concept development and troubleshooting.

5+ years of experience as a System Engineer / Architect in the Automotive industry

~ Solid experience in the whole product life cycle (gathering requirements, design, architecture, simulation, validation, test, and implementation / integration)

~ Experience in either powertrain / battery management / ADAS system engineering

~ Fluent Spanish and English language skills
